The Lowdown
When you disable the advertising ServerScan will no longer send messages to your servers console advertising itself. It will also remove the banners shown at the bottom of the main ServerScan window.

To disable the advertising aspect of ServerScan you are required to make a small donation towards the future development and support of our software. We have two different payment packages to hopefully cater for everyones needs. These are as follows:-

Individual Client(s)
Requires a donation of $20 per client per year that you wish to disable the advertising on.

Clans
Requires a donation of $100 per year. This allows you to disable the advertising on 20 clients. You effectively get the advertising disabled on each client for $5 a year instead of $20.

Once you have decided which of the above packages suits your needs please follow the below instructions to continue:-

Individual Client(s) - How To

• Decide how many clients you wish to disable the advertising on i.e. no' of clients x $20 = donation per year
• Make the required donation. There are two ways to do this:-
  
  1) Register on our forum and use the Paid Subsciption Services (uses PayPal). Don't forget to subscribe to our Tatakai Software Updates system when registering on the forum. You'll then get emails etc whenever we release a new version
  2) Donate directly through PayPal
  
  Either way is fine but we would prefer you to register on the forum and use the Subscription Services as this enables us and you to keep better track of your donations. You will also get automatically emailed when your Subscription period is coming to an end.
  
  
• Once your donation has been received and processed load ServerScan on the client(s) you wish to disable the advertising on and click the menu item "Disable Advertising". This menu item is under the "Help" dropdown menu
• Enter your PayPal Email Address in the required field and click the "Send" button. This must be the PayPal Email Address that you sent your donation through! There is no need to enter anything into the Clan ID field!
• A webpage will open confirming we have received your request
• Once we have confirmed your donation we will disable the advertising accordingly for your client(s). Please allow 72 hours for this change to be made before re-applying as above. Your subscription will not start until we have activated it!
• Once the process has been completed you will notice the About screen alter to reflect the change and the advertising will cease throughout. The expiry date for your yearly subscription period will be shown in the About screen. In order for this change to occur you must restart the ServerScan application as it will only pick up the change at start-up

Clans - How To

• Make the required donation of $100. This is for 20 clients per year! There are two ways to do this:-

• Once we have checked and received your payment we will email you a Clan ID. This will be sent to the email address used to make the donation i.e. the PayPal Email address. You cannot proceed any further until you have received your Clan ID!
• Once you have received your Clan ID load ServerScan on the client(s) you wish to disable the advertising on and click the menu item "Disable Advertising". This menu item is under the "Help" dropdown menu
• Enter your Clan ID in the required field and click the "Send" button. There is no need to enter anything into the PayPal Email Address field! Please note it is your responsibility to keep your Clan ID safe! We will disable the advertising for the first 20 requests we receive and no more after that. If you believe your Clan ID has been compromised please Contact Us.
• A webpage will open confirming we have received your request
• Once we have confirmed your Clan ID status we will disable the advertising accordingly for your client(s). Please allow 72 hours for this change to be made before re-applying as above. Each client is viewed as an individual therefore each clients subscription will last for one year from the point of activation
• Once the process has been completed you will notice the About screen alter to reflect the change and the advertising will cease throughout. The expiry date for your yearly subscription period will be shown in the About screen. In order for this change to occur you must restart the ServerScan application as it will only pick up the change at start-up

Please note this is client based. Should you re-install or change your hardware make sure you re-register ServerScan with the same details you used previously to avoid complications. Don't hesitate to Contact Us should you experience any problems. We will do our best to resolve them as quickly as possible.

One Year Expiry
After your one year subscription period has ended the advertising will be automatically turned back on. If you made a donation of $20 or more before the 16th of April 2006 then you will not be subject to the one year expiry period as above.

I Have Already Donated
If you have already donated $20 or more you may request to have the advertising disabled immediately. Please remember it costs $20 per client so if you have donated $40 you are entitled to disable the advertising on 2 clients. If you have donated $25 and you wanted to disable the advertising on 2 clients you would need to donate another $15. If you need to donate extra please Contact Us for assistance. If you wish to change to the Clan package after donating already please Contact Us stating this fact.
